John Will Nix turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Saturday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Gulf Shores is 8-1-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-11 otherwise.
