Lathrop's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Brookfield Bulldogs. The Mules haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Lathrop was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-7, 25-17.

Everly Ziemer paced Lathrop's offense, picking up eight kills. Ziemer got some help from Sadie Dunivent and her 15 assists. Chloe Pritchett controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Lathrop's win bumped their record up to 6-19-2. As for Brookfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18-1 record this season.

Lathrop wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against St. Joseph Christian on the 21st.
