Basketball Game Preview: Haverhill Hillies vs. Beverly Panthers

The Haverhill Hillies and the Beverly Panthers will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Haverhill, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Beverly's (thus far) undefeated season.

On Friday, Haverhill came up short against Tewksbury Memorial and fell 68-55.

Meanwhile, Beverly strolled past Salem with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-41.

Beverly's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Haverhill, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Haverhill strolled past Beverly in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 59-44. Will Haverhill repeat their success, or does Beverly have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
