Softball Recap: Lyman Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lyman's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Lake Howell Silverhawks on Tuesday. The Greyhounds' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Lyman's record now sits at 4-11. As for Lake Howell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyman will head out to take on Oviedo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.19 runs per game on average), something the Greyhounds will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lake Howell, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lake Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Silverhawks are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
