Basketball Recap: McKinney Boyd Comes Up Short

McKinney Boyd lost against Plano East back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The McKinney Boyd Broncos fell 55-42 to the Plano East Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Panthers are ranked 56th).

This is the second loss in a row for McKinney Boyd and nudges their season record down to 13-12. As for Plano East, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Plano East beat McKinney Boyd by a score of 55-42 on Friday.
