Basketball Recap: Sheldon Triumphs

Sheldon lost to Estherville Lincoln Central back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Sheldon Orabs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets 49-47. The win was some much needed relief for the Orabs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Sheldon's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Estherville Lincoln Central, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-14.

Sheldon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-51 win against Okoboji on the 4th. Estherville Lincoln Central has also already played their next contest, a 56-47 loss against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 4th.
