Football Recap: Park Vista Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Park Vista was the 20-7 winner over Seminole Ridge when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Park Vista Cobras received a blow on Thursday as they fell 25-6 to the Seminole Ridge Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Cobras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Hawks are ranked 11th).

Jordana Weil threw for 119 yards and one touchdown. Zahra Fazal was her top target, picking up 80 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Aubrey Fogel was nothing short of spectacular for Seminole Ridge: she threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Fogel a new career-high in rushing yards (23).

Park Vista's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.3 points on average over those games. As for Seminole Ridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Park Vista has already played their next contest, a 14-6 win against Cardinal Newman on the 5th. As for Seminole Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 34-0 victory against Boca Raton on the 4th.
