After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Frankfort, Tri-Central was happy to have turned things around on Monday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Trojans who were credited with the win. The Tri-Central Trojans got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Taylor Titans's three. For Tri-Central, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory Taylor walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Tri-Central's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Taylor, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
