Brownstown Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Greensburg Pirates by a score of 68-55. Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Pirates are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reece Beaver, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Bowman, who made all 5 shots he took to post 10 points.

Brownstown Central's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Greensburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Brownstown Central will square off against Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Brownstown Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Greensburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-40 win against South Decatur on the 25th.
