Softball Recap: Monte Alto Blue Devil vs. IDEA Quest College Prep Trailblazers
Monte Alto can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 19-13 margin over the IDEA Quest College Prep Trailblazers. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.
Monte Alto got a massive performance out of Isabella Garcia, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Leah Estevanes, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with four RBI and a run.
The victory made it two in a row for Monte Alto and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for IDEA Quest College Prep, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.
Monte Alto will take on IDEA Edinburg College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monte Alto is facing IDEA Edinburg College Prep at the right time seeing as IDEA Edinburg College Prep is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for IDEA Quest College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Idea Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. IDEA Quest College Prep is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
