Football Game Preview: Munford Lions vs. Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles + How To Watch

The Munford Lions will venture away from home to take on the Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Munford faced off against Talladega on Friday. The Lions walked away with a 21-12 win over the Tigers.

Javier Curry went supernova, rushing for 175 yards and one score, while also picking up 69 receiving yards. Curry is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 108 every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington hadn't done well against Saint James recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Golden Eagles blew past the Trojans 26-6. The matchup marked the Golden Eagles' most dominant victory of the season.

Booker T. Washington's win came from a few key players Munford will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jeremiah Kitt, who threw for 191 yards and a pair of TDs on only 14 passes. A healthy portion of Kitt's aerial production (86 yards to be exact) went to Marquez Daniel, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Munford's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Booker T. Washington, their record is now 4-2.
