Soccer Recap: Ridgefield Takes a Loss

Ridgefield lost against Camas back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Ridgefield lost 3-0 to Camas. While losing is never fun, Ridgefield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 119th, while Camas are ranked 32nd).

Ridgefield has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Camas and bumps their season record up to 4-2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgefield will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hudson's Bay at 7:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Camas, they will be playing at home against Columbia River at 7:00 p.m. on April 7. Columbia River will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Camas surely won't give up without a fight.
