Recap: Farmersville Farmers vs. Bonham Warriors
The Farmersville Farmers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bonham. While losing is never fun, Farmersville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1119th, while Bonham is ranked 344th).
Leading Bonham to victory were Jagger Lindsey and Jaelynn Richards . Lindsey dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds, while Richards scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds. Heath Brown was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Farmersville's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Bonham, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Farmersville will face off against Pittsburg at 12:35 p.m. on Friday. As for Bonham, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Ford at 10:00 a.m. Ford is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
