Basketball Recap: Enloe Takes a Loss

Enloe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Leesville Road Pride, falling 71-44. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pride apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Enloe still got an impressive performance from Preston Williams, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 12 points in addition to five rebounds and five blocks. Those five blocks gave Williams a new career-high. Gianni McIntire was another key player, putting up five points and six boards.

Enloe's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Leesville Road, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Enloe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-40 defeat against Athens Drive on the 29th. Leesville Road has also already played their next game, a 67-61 loss against Broughton on the 30th.
