Volleyball Recap: Ellsworth Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Ellsworth waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Hampden Broncos with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

Ellsworth walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 25-11, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Austyn Atherton and Sophie Beal, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Sophie Harmon and her 12 assists. Caitlin Jenkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

Ellsworth's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hampden, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Ellsworth will look to defend their home court on Monday against Narraguagus at 5:30 p.m. As for Hampden, they are taking a road trip to square off against Brewer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
