Scott's Branch dropped down to 5-2 on Friday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They lost 38-14 to the Cross Trojans. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 54-12 to the Trojans when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Cross, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six games by 24 points or more so far this season.

Mah'Ky Green produced another solid performance rushing for 145 yards and one TD, while also picking up 35 receiving yards and one score. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 100.8 rushing yards per game.

Coincidentally, Scott's Branch and Cross will both be playing Bethune-Bowman the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Mohawks at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th.
