Basketball Recap: King Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

King had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 55-44 win over the North Shore Mustangs. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

North Shore lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Da'Marcus Sloan, who posted nine points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Sloan a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Walker, who had eight points.

King's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game.
