Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elk Grove). They secured a 79-74 W over the Leyden Eagles on Friday. That's two games straight that the Grenadiers have won by exactly five points.

The win made it two in a row for Elk Grove and bumps their season record up to 2-12. As for Leyden, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elk Grove will square off against Maine West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Elk Grove has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Leyden, they will face off against Wheeling at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
