Cooper City lost against Archbishop McCarthy back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cowboys came up short against the Mavericks, falling 3-0. The Cowboys' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Cooper City was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Archbishop McCarthy's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-13, 25-15.

Cooper City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cooper City will square off against Deerfield Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Archbishop McCarthy, they will be playing at home against Cardinal Gibbons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
