Soccer Recap: Palmer Ridge Takes a Loss

After flying high against Discovery Canyon on Tuesday, Palmer Ridge came back down to earth. The Bears took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lutheran Lions on Thursday. Palmer Ridge have struggled against Lutheran recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Palmer Ridge's goal came courtesy of Ava Odil, who's now up to four this season.

Palmer Ridge's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-2. As for Lutheran, they pushed their record up to 9-2-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Palmer Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Holy Family on the 26th. As for Lutheran, they have also already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Discovery Canyon on the 29th.
