Soccer Recap: Fennville Takes a Loss

Fennville and Allegan pushed the score to 6-2 the last time they played Allegan, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Blackhawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. While losing is never fun, Fennville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Allegan are ranked 122nd).

Fennville now has a losing record of 5-6-2. As for Allegan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Fennville will welcome Watervliet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Allegan, they will take on Lawton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
