Montello waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Marathon Red Raiders. The Hilltoppers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Red Raiders, so the Hilltoppers were just returning the favor.

Brooklyn O'Malley paced Montello's offense, picking up ten kills. O'Malley got some help from Charlee O'Malley and her 11 assists. Emily Barganz controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Montello's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Marathon, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Montello wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Almond-Bancroft on the 26th. As for Marathon, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Rosholt on the 26th.
