Basketball Recap: Heartland Christian vs. Cedar Bluffs Wildcats

Heartland Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 50-37 to the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats. Novotny is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Carter Eiring, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.

Heartland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Cedar Bluffs, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-11.

Heartland Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cornerstone Christian School on February 3rd. Cedar Bluffs has already played their next game, a 57-37 loss against College View Academy on the 27th.
