Softball Recap: Quakertown Panthers vs. Pennridge Rams
Quakertown won the last time they faced Pennridge and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers came out on top against the Rams by a score of 13-8.
Quakertown got a great performance from Ava Zebert as she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits.
At the plate, Ava Eatherton and Ellie Hilton did most of the damage at the plate: Eatherton went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one triple, while Hilton went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Eatherton has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kira Jefferson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5.
Quakertown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
