Volleyball Game Preview: Randolph Ghosts vs. Harwood Highlanders + How To Watch

The Randolph Ghosts will take on the Harwood Highlanders at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Randolph is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Mt. Abraham, who was ranked 17th at the time (Randolph was ranked 12th). The Ghosts fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Ghosts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Randolph actually scored more points across those five sets (105-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 19-25, 15-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Harwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Missisquoi Valley with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Highlanders in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now won three in a row.

Harwood was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-14.

Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Harwood, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
