League recap: Carthage extends winning streak with victory over Watertown

Carthage added to the longest winning streak in Section 3 Class A - National this week by beating Watertown, 28-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

New Hartford scaled the state rankings by moving to 237 from 298 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Spartans were able to move up by defeating Fowler 36-6.

Oswego's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bucs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Garrett Dunsmoor has thrown for 131 yards this season, while Alex Makin has 3 catches for 79 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Indian River takes on the Cyclones. At the moment, the Warriors are in third, while Watertown is in fourth.

New Hartford led Section 3 Class A - National in scoring this week after putting up 36 points on the Falcons.
