Volleyball Game Preview: Weld Central Rebels vs. Eaton Reds

Weld Central hasn't had much luck against Eaton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rebels will look to defend their home court against the Reds at 6:30 p.m.

Weld Central's tournament run continued when they took on Fort Morgan on Saturday. The Rebels fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Eaton waltzed into their contest on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They blew past the Firebirds 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-8.

Eaton's win came from a few key players Weld Central will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hayden Logan, who had 13 digs and three assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Eaton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Eaton's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Weld Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
