When it comes to explaining why Mountain View lost, one person who can't be blamed is Addison Branscum. Despite the final result, she scored 21 points along with two blocks. Branscum hasn't dropped below 17 points for three straight games.
Mountain View struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Roosevelt racked up 25 assists.
Roosevelt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryanne Bahnsen-price led the charge by scoring 17 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Madison Moyers was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven assists and four steals.
Mountain View's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Roosevelt, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-1.
