Softball Recap: Cajon Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Yucaipa, Cajon was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Legacy Tigers by a score of 9-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cowboys as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Cajon's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Legacy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

Cajon and Legacy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Cowboys will square off against Beaumont at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (388 vs. 157). Meanwhile, Legacy (ranked 412th) will meet Warren (ranked 161st) at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
