Soccer Recap: West Craven Comes Up Short

West Craven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the East Carteret Mariners. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Eagles it sure didn't stay that way.

West Craven's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for East Carteret, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5.

Coming up, West Craven will venture away from home to square off against Southside at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Southside will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something West Craven surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Carteret, they will be playing at home against White Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. White Oak's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
