Lake View had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles 48-10. The Wild Gators' defeat signaled the end of their 16-game winning streak dating back to last season.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake View will head out to face off against West Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake View is facing West Columbus at the right time seeing as West Columbus is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pee Dee Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against Aynor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
