Pusch Ridge Christian Academy had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They blew past the St. Augustine Catholic Wolves 3-0. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win two weeks ago.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy never let St. Augustine Catholic on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 26-24.

Marcelo Ibarra-Vallejo was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had nine digs and one assist. Those nine digs gave him a new career-high. Ben Lambe also deserves some recognition as he had his first digs of the season.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for St. Augustine Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Coming up, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against The Gregory School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Augustine Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sequoia Pathway Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
