Meanwhile, Greater Johnstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Penn Cambria, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Trojans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Greater Johnstown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Bishop McCort, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Bishop McCort took their win against Greater Johnstown in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crushers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
