Rosemount posted their closest win since April 9th on Thursday. They skirted past the Eagan Wildcats 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Irish: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in April, they had to take a 8-7 defeat.

Rosemount is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Eagan, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-12.

Coming up, Rosemount will welcome Hastings at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Eagan, they will head out to take on Shakopee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
