Football Recap: Browning Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Browning extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They were dealt a 59-16 defeat at the hands of the Fergus Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana football rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked fourth).

As for Fergus, their record is now 4-1. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Fergus was led to victory by Chaz Walsh and Madden Norslien. Walsh gained 153 total yards, while Norslien threw for 184 yards and three TDs on only 13 passes. Those three passing touchdowns gave Norslien a new career-high.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Browning will challenge East Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fergus, they will take on Havre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles will need to watch out since the Blue Ponies have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
