Preview: Braddock Bulldogs vs. Coral Reef Barracudas
The Braddock Bulldogs will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Coral Reef Barracudas at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Braddock is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
Last Wednesday, Braddock strolled past TERRA Environmental with points to spare, taking the game 56-42.
Elsa Stier was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. The matchup was her 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yvonne Jebian , who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Coral Reef was beaten by Ferguson 53-24 on Wednesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Coral Reef in their matchups with Ferguson: they've now lost nine in a row.
Braddock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Coral Reef, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
Everything came up roses for Braddock against Coral Reef in their previous matchup back in January of 2022 as the squad secured a 69-41 win. With Braddock ahead 38-16 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
