Basketball Game Preview: Sandusky Wolves vs. Caro Tigers

Sandusky and Caro are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Sandusky Wolves will take on the Caro Tigers in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sandusky has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Sandusky is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Memphis, posting a 62-35 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Caro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 50-33 fall against Bad Axe. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Sandusky's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4. As for Caro, they now also have a losing record at 3-4.

Sandusky came up short against Caro in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 64-52. Can Sandusky avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
