Volleyball Recap: James Island's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

James Island's tournament run continued when they took on West-Oak on Saturday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Warriors. The loss put an end to the Trojans' undefeated start to the season.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: West-Oak scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

Despite the loss, James Island still got an impressive performance from Natalie McGreorge, who had 18 assists. McGreorge is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

James Island's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for West-Oak, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

James Island wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Crescent on the 23rd. As for West-Oak, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Easley on the 23rd.
