Permian's tournament run continued when they took on Trinity on Thursday. Neither the Permian Panthers nor the Trinity Trojans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 tie.

With that tie, Permian's record moves to 14-2-2. Meanwhile, Trinity's record is now 5-7-1.

Coming up, Permian will take on Grapevine in a tournament on Friday. Permian's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Grapevine's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Trinity, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wylie East at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
