Football Recap: Lenawee Christian Skates Past Waldron with Ease + How To Watch

Lenawee Christian won the last time they faced Waldron and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Spartans 63-22. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-6.

A big part of Lenawee Christian's win came down to the chemistry between Elijah Lutz and his top target Judah Marine. Lutz gained 82 total yards while Marine threw for 178 yards and three TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes.

Although Waldron took the loss, they still got scores from Isaac Fether, Troy Shamplo, and Seth Williams.

Lenawee Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Waldron, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Looking ahead, Lenawee Christian will look to defend their home field on Friday against Concord at 7:00 p.m. The Cougars will be up against the Yellowjackets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Waldron, they will head out to challenge Pittsford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
