Softball Recap: Borah Takes a Loss

Borah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Weiser Wolverines, falling 16-4. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kayla Campbell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Maggie McMullen also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Borah's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Weiser, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Borah has already played their next contest (against Homedale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Weiser, they have already played their next game, a 12-3 win against Preston on the 22nd.
