It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hermon had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cony Rams a 10-0 shutout. The Hawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Katie Fowler, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Simcox, who went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run.

Hermon's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Cony, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Hermon nor Cony have any future games scheduled.
