Volleyball Recap: West Comes Up Short

West was the 3-0 winner over Belton when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans came up short against the Tigers on Friday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 25-18.

West dropped their record down to 14-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Belton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-10 record this season.

West and Belton will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to challenge their familiar foe Whitney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Belton will square off against rival Lake Belton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
