Volleyball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Ridgeview Wolfpack. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Union was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Ridgeview work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 26-24, 25-19.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Ridgeview, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Union will face off against rival John Battle at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. Meanwhile, Ridgeview is set to challenge their familiar foe Abingdon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
