Softball Recap: Lisbon Takes a Loss

Lisbon fell victim to Dirigo and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-0. It was the first time this season that the Greyhounds let down their fans at home.

Lisbon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubriana Bright, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Lisbon suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 8-3. As for Dirigo, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lisbon will face off against rival Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dirigo is set to challenge their familiar foe Mountain Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
