Basketball Recap: Glenn Hills Comes Up Short

Glenn Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. The contest between them and the Lakeside Panthers didn't end well, with the Glenn Hills Spartans falling 59-40. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-39 last Tuesday.

Glenn Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lakeside, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Glenn Hills will square off against Hancock Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Glenn Hills is facing Hancock Central at the right time seeing as Hancock Central is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lakeside, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Lakeside Panthers face off against the Augusta Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Augusta Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lakeside surely won't give up without a fight.
