Basketball Game Preview: Sabetha Bluejays vs. Paola Panthers

The Sabetha Bluejays will take on the Paola Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Sabetha came up short against Nemaha Central and fell 42-33. The matchup marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Paola lost to Ottawa at home by a 61-44 margin on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now lost six in a row.

Paola's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Sabetha, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Sabetha strolled past Paola when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 57-40. Will Sabetha repeat their success, or does Paola have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
