Basketball Game Preview: Central Chargers vs. Bleckley County Royals

The Central Chargers will head out on the road to take on the Bleckley County Royals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central will be strutting in after a victory while Bleckley County will be coming in after a loss.

Central took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They took down Academy for Classical Education 67-51.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Bleckley County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Southwest, falling 62-36. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Patriots are ranked 56th).

Central's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Bleckley County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.

Central came up short against Bleckley County when the teams last played back in January, falling 43-39. Can Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
