Soccer Game Preview: Lodi vs. Ripon

The Lodi Flames will challenge the Ripon Indians at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday. Lodi will be strutting in after a win while Ripon will be coming in after a loss.

Lodi's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Oakdale with a sharp 4-0 victory.

Lodi hit the Mustangs with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Devin Briceno (2), Daniel Lozada, and Silverio Guillermo Conreras.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Ripon was not quite Mountain House's equal in the second half on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Mustangs.

Ripon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4-1. As for Lodi, the win got them back to even at 2-2-1.
