Volleyball Game Preview: Bell Eagles vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders

After both having extra time off, the Bell Eagles and the Roosevelt Rough Riders will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bell has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 17.

Last Thursday, Bell didn't have quite enough to beat Huntington Park and fell 3-2.

Bell couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Huntington Park a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-32, 25-22, 25-13, 13-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt made easy work of Garfield last Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rough Riders.

While Roosevelt won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-14, 25-21.

Roosevelt pushed their record up to 13-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Bell, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
